Why?

Why?
Thats a question everyone asks
yet almost noone can answer
'why do I have to do this?'
'why do I have to go through this?'
'why did they have to die?'
'why did they leave?'
So many whys, almost no answers
I can't say that I have all the answers
I can't say that I can make it all better
Cause I don't and I can't
But I have been in similar positions
I know how you feel
and you need to remember this
No matter the why
No matter the reason
Someone cares
I care
and though I may take a while
and I may not be able to help
I can and will listen
I can and will comfort you
I can and will try to help you
Why?
Cause no one should have to go through anything in life alone.
